A CHECKLIST to see if your food is KAWAII or not :
Is your food served on a super cute plate ? It is KAWAII FOOD!
Is your food colored pastel colors and/or rainbow in color ? It is KAWAII FOOD!
Is your food served on a cute plate, or you have a cute cup to drink out of ? It is KAWAII FOOD!
Does your utensils look cute and/or have bows, hearts, or even faces of kitties? It is KAWAII FOOD!
Since the word Kawaii means cute, cute food is Kawaii!
You can even make your own food kawaii but just altering some of it. If you wanted to make your meal kawaii you need to ask yourself what can I do to make this food cute? Simple things such as changing the colors of a food by adding food safe dyes and gels can make a simple plate of food spring up with pastels and rainbows. You can even cut your food into kawaii inspired shapes and animals. Instead of making your plate of pancakes ordinary, make them kawaii extraordinary by making them into hearts by hand pouring them from a bottle with a nozzle tip, you can even use a metal cookie cutter to pour your batter into to hold the shape. If you want your regular circle pancakes you can make them kawaii by using toppings to turn them into kawaii creations.
Turning your lunch time foods into lunch time kawaii foods can be super easy using sandwich cutters, and various other vegetable and fruit cutters to help you transform your meals into kawaii creations.
You can take a regular pie or cake and transform it into something else! With pink and green dye and chocolate chips you can make a pie look like a watermelon! How cute is that!!!!
If you want to take your food into an extra "Kawaii" step you can use plates, cups and utensils that are kawaii and make your kawaii foods into super kawaii foods! Having these items decorated with your favorite anime and cartoon characters as well as cute bears, frogs, pigs, ducks you can eat kawaii foods everyday at anytime! Keep an eye out for pastel pinks, blues, greens, yellows, orange and purples because these are key colors in kawaii kitchen utensils and plates! As well as ones decorated with bows, hearts, stars just to name a few.
