As a kid in the 1990's, going around shopping was exciting for me, and I liked looking around at the items but most of all the unique items. We would check out a lot of dime stores, dollar style shops and mom & pop shops that would pop up. We visited this 99 cent style shop in a plaza with other big named stores and the sea of items was endless! Orange and neon colored tickets lined all the products, but nothing was more eye catching than seeing a display with the Sailor Moon Sailor Scouts on it! A huge cardboard cutout box had neon colored items in it and they were magnificent! Rows and rows of plastic bubbles in neon green, yellow, orange and pink lined this box. I was hooked! I had to have it and the box! So we bought five bubbles and asked the store man ever so nicely that when they sell out if I could keep the box. The man was so nice that he emptied it for me that day and let me have it.
These bubbles were so fantastic because they were all in the shape of chibi style Sailor Moon and they were necklaces! They were perfect. And still to this day I have the bubble liquid in them because I was so scared to use them. These bubble necklaces were part of the line of "Planet Girls" a line made to look like Sailor Moon and the Sailor Scouts. The whole box looked just like the anime and so did the cute cats! These have been one of my most prized and unique finds in my Sailor Moon Collection. This item may not be an official item but for me they are one in the same because they were made magnificently.
